It had a CZ motorcycle front end with external assisstor springs, a handle bar steering system we designed and the back end of the original reliant b...

Rita Ignitions

We now repair Lucas Rita Ignition modules. Prices are usually around £45+VAT for most repairs.

Turn around times are about 2 weeks at the moment as are workshops are so busy. When we are quiet we can normally do them in under a week.

Re: Magneto Question

What happens is this: An inductor will try and resist a change in voltage. IE if you have a coil and apply a battery to it the windings will resist the apply voltage to remain at zero volts. The battery will over come this and the voltage will build up creating a magnetic field around the winding as...

Re: XL250 ignition on a CB250RS

Dgital programable ignition is the way to go, if you know exactly what you want and have the dyno time to prove what you want works in the real world. google 'grim motorcycles' then search for the generator you want to fit. This site is an American motorcycle breaker who really checks out what part ...

The thing is you are your own worst enemies. Ok no one wants to pay over the odds, but the 'quality' factor is so often left out of the equation in favour of 'the cheapest price'. As a supplier I get so many phone calls that start with 'I need a really god job made of....(such and such repair)' .......
