Arnt speed humps a pain on 2 wheels.

I'm a newish biker (63)...and have discovered the road humps/sleeping policemen are a real risk to 2 wheel riders.

On road that are not familiar these are easy to miss as I expect you all know.

Is there any evidence of accidents being caused by these PITA things.

Re: Self mixing and non self mixing 2 stroke oil.

I also fly a 2 stroke microlight...recommended oil is semi synthetic by the engine maker...unless the machine is used more or less daily when fully synthetic can be used. If used on a machine that is not used daily...it wont give the same internal corrosion protection as it tend to drain from compon...

Re: Self mixing and non self mixing 2 stroke oil.

"I think the mixtures quoted for Bantams in the manuals are too oily these days. Not sure what you should run mind, but I'm sure I saw that posted on here before. One thing to bear in mind that people always forget, if you've too much oil in your mix then the engine will run lean" Hi Hooli...my sent...

Self mixing and non self mixing 2 stroke oil.

Hi guys...reading the manual for my 1970 BSA Bantam and the previous model the D10 it gives a 2 stroke petrol mix of either 24/1 self mixing or 32/1 non self mixing. Anybody any idea what these terms mean...I know it sound self explanatory but dont all oil mix if put in petrol...and why 24/1 and 32/...

Hi temp paint req exhaust down pipe.

Hi guys can anybody recommend a silver paint that will be suitable for a rust front down pipe on a bantam exhaust and not burn off to quickly.

Re: Ignition Timing using a light bulb

Triton...I set the timing on my Bantam B!&% a few weeks ago with the test lamp idea. I still have a strobe test for years gone by...love to try it on the bantam but I have no mark for it to be of any use and the manual only gives 16.5 deg BTC...so I can only use a timing disc wheel. Any tip on using...
