Welcome back from me too Hazel. I've missed you and your photographic skills. Hope his lordship is o.k.

Severn Valley Railway Classic Vehicle day

Don't know if anyone in the midlands is interested, but SVR are holding their classic vehicle day this coming Sunday, 13th October. There will be classic vehicles at all the stations with mostly bikes at Hampton Loade. Unfortunately I can't go! :(

Re: What did you do Today

To be fair, it was yesterday. We came home from holiday - shame but still. We were on two steam trains during the week - Ash, it's a lovely area you live in - although it was a bit draughty at the top of the Brocken. The only disappointment was that we didn't see any witches! :(

Re: Anyone on here got a PPL?

It's a pity I can't fly, nor have I £120,000. I believe that these are built in Australia (I seem to recall a TV programme where the presenter visited the "factory"), perhaps one of our friends from that neck of the woods can enlighten us. :)

Re: Wistanstow and Red Marley - CANCELLED

Shame! I know that I couldn't go to either of these events anyway but I always enjoyed seeing sfb's photographs of both events.

Re: Enfield help needed

Greenbat, you might want to contact Tollgate Classics (use Google). They predominantly deal with Bullets ( & big bore kits for) but they may be able to give some advice.

Re: Diabetic Insurance?

Dave
I am also Type 2 Diabetic and I am not penalised BUT I am tablet controlled. My twin brother is type 2 on insulin and, as long as DVLA are aware of his condition, his car insurance is not loaded. I would suggest that that would be a fairly common attitude .
