Well a shit update to report. Not happy with the clip ons I replaced them with a set of 'western' style bars, but as they are a bit higher I had to pull on the handlebar switch wires for clearance. Last few days, I had a few shakedown runs on the 5Ta, hopefully got it sorted. I went 20 miles on it today with no worries. Just finished fitting a chain and sprocket set and new pads to my 07 Bonnie. One of the chain adjusters was seized solid and as its only a small bolthead it inevitably stripped. Once out, I ran a tap through the threads on the swingarm and I could almost turn it by hand so who knows the issue there....
