However I dont think that particular earth is at fault here. When you switch to, for example the left indi...

Re: CB125K3 and Norton dominator fuel tank caps seized

Remove the fuel tap and drain any old fuel out. Leave the fuel tap out to give you a vent hole. Now try heat on the cap but only in the form of hot water from a kettle sloshed over the fuel cap. Not a flame obviously. Then get hold of it with water pump pliers and turn it. It probably needs a push a...

Re: tanks from india

The tank arrived yesterday and it looks good. The chrome looks even. There is an area right up by the filler cap where the chrome is a different shade, I dont know why that is. I will be obscured by the filler cap anyway so I am not bothered. Definitely not worth sending back to India. The underside...

Well Ive only gone and finished it... Did about 50 miles round trip on Saturday to the Malle Mile event in Orpington, Kent. The bike went really well, survived being ridden through a torrential downpour on the way back. Here is me trundling about back home in the sunshine: https://www.youtube.com/wa...

Re: tanks from india

Thanks for your reply. Can you share the seller? I've been dredging the forums and such for any and all reviews on these things I can find and it seems some sellers are favored whilst some are not. Some tanks are good and some are not. Just trying to increase my odds of what looks like a bit of a c...

How to import a used bike to the UK from the EU. NOVA etc

The principle of free movement of goods within the EU does apply in these cases but there is the NOVA hoop to jump through in the case of vehicles. I just thought this information might be useful to anyone who has bought or is thinking of buying an old Honda or whatever from France or elsewhere in t...

That's really good news. It will be Draganfly for me when I need bits for the BSA A65 project.

Honda XL500s 1981 project

Here we go again! Decided to go with two mates to Spain in June for some gentle off tarmac riding. They both have XT500 Yamahas and I do not so was in the market for something similar. XT500s are going for big money now but the XL500s are not so I found someone selling a French registered one and ha...
