Re: Seeley (replica) Framed Project Road Racer

Hmm, seems it's been a while since I updated activities on the racer front. We managed a whole 4 race meetings in 2019, a record for us as even club racing challenges the resources. Gary May rode for the 1st two outings and even set lap and race records at the first CRMC meeting at Castle Combe in A...

Re: What did you do Today

Hi Jimmy, That is a PITA :( As it happens I have 2 sets of 5TA bars, never fitted so new. Twice I ordered bars for my Nacelle equipped Speed Twin, and twice they were wrong lol :D . I ended up re-chroming the originals. If you want a set to try out let me know and I'll send one up to you. Cheers Geoff

Re: looking for classic tt enthusiasts

Hi, The Classic Motorcycle Racing Forum might be good place to start: http://www.cmrf.co.uk/smf/index.php

There are also numerous groups on Facebook worth a try too, just do a search.

Hi Budgie, I have a 1966 Speed Twin I restored from a virtual basket case. A lot of work but good fun and you have a smashing bike at the end of it. Re: bsa c15 very tight budget build!!

Hi johnr,

Glad you have made some good progress. The carburettor offerings from the far east are certainly worth a look these days. I have read that your typical Amal Concentric is only good for 10,000 miles before it is worn out. So much for superior British manufacturing :D .

Re: Sym wolf classic 125cc

Hi Joe, A nice little bike, It looks in fair condition. I would guess it is manufactured in the far east, maybe China, and is probably a clone of something like a Honda CB/CG125 (or similar). You might try to find a Facebook group on the model, or a more general bike forum. The term "Classic" bike i...
