yes, it has got some value, its a pre unit engine, meaning it would have had a seperate gearbox. even if its seized solid, it will still have value. give it a good soaking in wd40 or even diesel oilm to free off any seized bolts have you checked to see if it turns over, long shot, but worth a go. as...

im not sure thats an entirely fair assumption you make there. ive not bodged the tanks ive sealed with sealants. ive done the job because its been neccessary. modern petrol at concentrations of e10 have attacked previously applied sealants that cant cope with such high levels of alcohols in the blen...

i did my triumph tank with por15 last year, it worked perfectly, and is still spot on. if you used it and it went wrong, then you probably didnt follow the instructions properly. i followed them to the letter, and its neither disolved flaked nor gone brittle.

you can get gas for welding inc co2 and argon amongst others without a boc licence from a firm called adams gas.
