Re: bantam project

They generally say that you should buy the best that you can and let some other poor sod pay for the build Buying a bike bit by bit can work out expensive, and thinking that a £500 bike willl just need £250 and be fine is optimistic to say the least. Paint and wheels can cost a lot whatever bike you...

Re: Bigger 3TA?

Because you need a 500 head and conrods as well.

The 3ta conrods are steel, 500 alloy. The 3ta little end is a different size but the same as a cub. Afaik you can ream the 350 conrod to fit 500 Pistons at a push.

Bigger 3TA?

You can convert 350 3ta's to 400cc (apparently!) and I believe that people use tiger cub Pistons ? Anybody know any more? Is it viable on a road bike? It seems to be a trials thing. What does it do? More torque? More speed? Standard cub or high compression Pistons? Just interested really but I do ha...

Re: Suzuki TS400 crankcase screws

no idea but I would use a hand held "L" allen key if possible, so it's hard to strip it I also have the T shaped ones and sockets but take care on smaller allen. I just noticed in my T140 book that they suggest using a box/tube spanner for the spark plugs. Normally I use a 'proper" UJ type dedicated...
