the actual bike was a triumph TR6 trophy, so neither BSA nor some german bike.

He actually manages to chase himself, as he played "the cooler King' and the chasing german soldiers

everybody who has never ridden an OIF bike trotts out the " they don't have a big enough oil tank and run hot" rubbish

they don't run hot, the frame is an oil cooler. They run cooler that the dry frame bikes

at the risk of it being a silly question, what will you ride to get your test?

even though the Bantam is below the 12bhp(?) learner limit, it still needs to be below 125 doesn't it?

I have a pillar drill ( bought on a whim and sadly underused due to clutter) so I might pick one up.
It will give me an excuse to use it.

I have a cub to rebuild and a second engine to acquire parts for so there may be use for it.

at autojumbles, I have seen those three legged hones that you chuck in a drill.

are they any good?

AFAIk "Metisse" only make the frames for the 650 bike stat they import from the USA and the frames for the bloke from the Motorcycle Show that he builds overpriced...
