have registration rules changed?

on another forum, someone has issues with registering the age of a bike.

he has details from a marque expert dating the frame but DVLA seem to be insisting that as the engine is a few years younger, it must have a Q plate?

my car won't run properly unless on shell vv power or equivalent, and i tend to shift fuel from the bike to the car, then refill a can and top up the car with fresh V [power.

so i run all my bikes on V power or super unleaded. On a bike, it is hardly a massive cost

am i being picky in that to me an inline twin is a harley, or sunbeam? as in along the spine of the bike?
Don't they mean parallel twin?

yeah,

rockerbox don't tend to stock crap bits.

if you bought the lever type taps they bed in after a few turns on/off

yeah, very disappointing.

an ex g/f in about 1980 used to have a B120.

his restorations seem to be no more than a bit of solvol and a service, then sell the bike for less than the cost of getting the bike back home.

if the programme was interesting, i could forgive the boring presentation.

I use shell V power or sometimes the BP equivalent.

they are doughty washers.

perhaps they are old? I replace mine when buying new taps. I would complain to the seller, the actual use is fine, i think the item is faulty?

Engine number H 11512 onwards
WM2-17 front and back

I have had the last couple of bikes wheels built by central wheels and was happy. They keep data so might be able to help
