Re: What did you do Today

Could be the next best thing to a Bullworker for developing those biceps if it's powered by a Briggs&Stratton 4-stroke engine

Re: What did you do Today

Sounds like the carb needs a strip, clean and new gaskets.

Re: Seeley Honda 750

I reveived a letter from Colin Seeley confirming the originality of my Seeley Honda 750. Colin has an extensive archive of the machines produced by Colin Seeley Racing and for a donation to the Joan Seeley Pain Relief Trust will provide a official record of the origin of a particular chassis and the...

Re: Seeley Honda 750

Colin Seeley was kind enough to sign a copy of the Classic Bike magazine feature for me. A nice addition to the bikes history, I think he liked the article too. https://c2.staticflickr.com/6/5815/29981831880_6e3b83686c_z.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8408/30192882821_09678716ba_z.jpg Cheers Geoff

Re: Seeley Honda 750

Hi, The feature on my Seeley Honda 750 was published in the October Classic Bike magazine. A good write up from Gez Kane. Colin Seeley confirms that only 6 bikes were "factory" built by CSRD so it makes my bike a pretty rare example. https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8137/29857466501_1c5924eb04_b.jpg He...

Re: Just checking in.

I've also been very slack on getting out on the road this year, supersix. Probably only done a 1000 miles between all my bikes  .

My excuse is age and having two dogs to accommodate (they find the pillion perch a bit scary :D )

Re: Two smoke plugs

I have always read the plugs from both type of engines in the same way Hooli. Dark to Light Tan as always, however that plug looks well black. On a 2-smoke this might be due to 1. Very very very rich mixture 2. Too much oil in the mix# 3. Plug too cold and not burning away deposits 4. Not being thra...

Re: What did you do Today

1 hr 10mins to fully to remove the alarm & do a nice neat job patching up the loom. Bike runs fine now 8-) I came to the conclusion that alarms are more trouble than they are worth. The Meta 357 I fitted to the SV1000S also failed and you could not start the bike, luckily this was on the drive not ...

That is far more appealing than a Reliant engined/stamped plate contraption. I think it's well cool :D
