Perhaps a T140 owning Rockerator would like to pull his finger out !

For years I have walked past Wilemans as it is (Was) when going to a pub in Derby my work lot meet up in occasionally. Always stopped to admire what was in the window. I finally got back into bikes and bought the 5TA, so they have now closed! I also work 10 mins up the road.

So I use TMS in Nottingham as my local supplier, I have found them very knowledgeable and fair priced. Plus they have a 350 Bandit, TSS and several other nice machines on show...

when did wilemans shut?

I bought stuff from them a while ago, but by mail order.

Some old places seem to be closing as most business is via the post nowadays, and actually still continue?

I do like to pop over to Rockerbox in Surrey as it's very old school and you gat to ask about the parts, rather than pick part numbers from a list.

Well it was never busy in the shop & I suspect that bit of Derby has gone up in value since Eagle market got redeveloped so it makes sense.

just thinking ahead and drooling over shiny shiny bits online. I notice some of you recommend WILEMANS CLASSIC SPARES who are now solely it seems on ebay. Are they still good?

Reason I ask is I was looking at http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TRIUMPH-VALVE ... 4ad784a7da" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and on the zoom pic they don't look too smooth. Shouldn't they be like super shiny smooth on the shafts? or do they look OK to you?

Thanks
