a suggestion that might make using forum a bit faster?

Hi, thought I'd suggest a slight adjustment to the forum, not a clue how easy it would be to set up but I think it might make keeping track of various topics etc easyer if there was a 'view all new replies' type function and/or a replies to users posts search. They use such features on a few forums and it's very godd for being able to keep track of topics that are of interest and ignore ones you aren't interested in.

Once you have logged in then you go to "Board Index" and it offers you the choice of "View latest posts."
That is my preferred way of accessing the Forum , although sometimes I think posts are missed.

As Velton says, we already have that option !
At the top of the board, on the left you have three options:

View unanswered posts • View new posts • View active topics

That seems fairly self-explanatory !

You can also 'subscribe' to topics that are of interest to you, or 'bookmark' them, and you can also request to be notified when anyone replies to a topic you have posted on.

Anything else you'd like ?

No Worries.
It takes time to find your way around these places.

Just a moan. Why change at all?? The old forum was better. Has it been changed just to Baffle old codgers like me. It is like deciding which bike to buy 2009 or 1973. Remember the old saying If its not broke why fuck about with it. Will now go and sit in a darken room.

The old forum ceased to be, beyond the control of anyone here now, so really it was broke and a few people fucked about (worked very hard) to set up this forum instead.

I think this format is one of the most user-friendly forum's I've seen (not to mention this forum being the best one, of course!)
