A pedant writes...

No, not "Greenbat you useless bastard" comments. Instead, any helpful suggestions, bugs, ideas etc. I have very little (i.e, none) experience with forum running, so help is very much appreciated

I think it should really be "independent of the magazine" but not worth getting steamed up about. ;)

Just be grateful there are no sodding apostrophes there!
The damned things are popping up everywhere - except where they should be!!! :x
Just being old doesn't make it a "Classic."

Aaaah! Nostalgia is not what it used to be!

I believe there may still be some residual animosity towards the Bauergrinch, rather than Hugo and the boys.

I keep trying to steer folks away from that sort of thing - especially since we've liked having Rick around the Bunker, and would like to see him back here too !

We have yet to find out how much it annoys them !
On the other hand - maybe they might like to part-sponsor the site - you never know !

Yes but if the magazine had not started the forum we would not be here now.

Personally I'd like to see some involvement of the magazine in the forum, perhaps try and get them to post odd preview of the magazine content or sponsor us as Gus as suggested.

Mmmmm, grammar....
I agree with Gus, you can argue about this sort of thing all day long and lifes too short.
BUT: :geek:
Independent from suggests A is seperate from B, A was once part of B but is no longer.
Independent of suggests "regardless" for example if the old "official" Classic Bike forum was still running and this one had been set up for some reason in competition with it.
But they kind of overlap like so many words in English so either could be used.
But not independent to...

Now I really must get back to work... :ugeek:

How about "Not Classic Bike's Forum"?
