Forum t-shirts? a fund raising idea

No, not "Greenbat you useless bastard" comments. Instead, any helpful suggestions, bugs, ideas etc. I have very little (i.e, none) experience with forum running, so help is very much appreciated

Quite right too. On both counts!

I made one !

Clicky For Bigger

This is by way of a prototype to see if it worked.
I got some cheap transfer paper from Aldi and a £4 T-shirt from Te$co.
It's not too bad - although the print size on the lower logo needs to be bigger.

The colour match between the shirt and the transfer isn't too bad - both are a dark blue by the way - not black !

It looks better in the flesh - but needs to be washed a couple of times to see what happens.
I might have another go - with bigger lettering - at some point.
I might also try and put a logo on the back as well.

I'd buy one.

I won't be selling any - If I get the lettering right I might print a couple of transfers off and post them together with some instructions for anyone who wants one.
If you wanted to go DIY there's nothing to stop anyone from downloading the current image off Flickr.

For some reason it prints quite a lot darker than that though

Please may I have a couple in black - without having to download / print off anything?
Just being old doesn't make it a "Classic."

Aaaah! Nostalgia is not what it used to be!

I don't think it'd look as good in black - which is why I did it in dark blue instead !
If you look at the Flickr image then you'll see the different shadings of blue - along with the antique film/photo effect - it just doesn't look right in shades of grey.
Having said that, a lot of the finer detail got lost in the printing.
Those of you who know me, know that black is my default clothing setting.
