Whats happened to all the postees.

No, not "Greenbat you useless bastard" comments. Instead, any helpful suggestions, bugs, ideas etc. I have very little (i.e, none) experience with forum running, so help is very much appreciated

And his bones were swiped from his grave on his farm in upstate New York by a Mr. Corbin, brought back to Britian, where they are now unknown.

Why did the forum need resurrecting? What happened to it?

This is the third incarnation of the Classic Bike Forum !
The first one disappeared when Bauer neglected to renew their subscription to the hosting site.
Greenbat then set up an Emergency Bunker, which was just starting to get itself together when the free hosting site had problems and the forum disappeared again.
While the Bunker was down DAM said 'Sod this' and forked out some cash to buy 'proper' hosting and also the .co.uk domain name.
So DAM is officially Saviour of the Forum.
Obviously we can't expect DAM to pay for the forum for ever, which is why there is a 'Donate' button up there, so that folks who value the forum can contribute to it's running costs.

Well that is probably what happened to all the postees, a lot of them probably got tired of chasing after the forum, then too, without any official tie to Classic Bike magazine it probably does not have the allure it once had.
Classic Bike magazine will probably get their shit together at some point, start another forum up again, and further pull the rug out from under this.

Unless you can make this forum so good that they offer to buy it back from DAM for a good sum.....I hope it goes that way! I think it could, maybe it would be a good time now to talk to someone at CB about the magazine buying it back, and also paying DAM a monthly sum for it's upkeep.

Sooner the better before someone else does it then it will be too late....

That's for damn sure and on top of that, we control what goes on here, not the Bauergrinch and Company. They wouldn't even let us use words like.................BOOGER. Plus we have a Pub with BEAER and grub at all hours, something we didn't have on the CB version or the Bunker.

Seriously, DAM and the Rockerators have done a great job of running this place.
You sick little monkey!!!! Holy crap!!!!
