Ha, saw the Undertones with Joy Division as support in Edinburgh in 1978 at the Cameo I think it was called, a cinema on Clerk St. I saw Blondie there the same year. My missus was still at school in Germany, come to think of it I was still at school too.

Found out there's a 50s night in a pub at Clapham North. Going to check it out, maybe go with one of the guys from the BMX club. They have bands, not sure who.

Watching the making of Peter Gabriel's 1986 album 'So' on BBC4 - Great album, I'd forgotten just how many great tracks are on it.
Peter Gabriel is a bit (lot !) odd though.
