I'd use the left tap for reserve, solely because on the side stand the petrol will pour to the left. So in my head that means you could be unable to restart on reserve if you park it up & have a little petrol left.

Good point, well thought out Hooli. Up until now I had been using the off-side tap as 'reserve' but the logic behind your idea has now made me think otherwise.

I figured they'd done it that way for that reason on my Bonnie which comes with two taps.
