Bantams at the Ace

Unread post by Bournemouth bantams » Wed Jun 27, 2012 8:59 pm

Hi all
I am organising a Bantam Meet at the Ace Cafe on the 30th September, How many Bantms can we get there ?????
I will be putting up a couple of prizes, furthest ridden and Bournemoth Bantams choice, for those who attend with their bikes. Talking to the Ace they say plenty of parking so if you don't want to brave the North circular on your bike parking should not be a problem.

Hope to see lots of you there on the day Howard

Hmmm...have to see what I'm doing. Wonder how my cafe racer bantam would cope with a 300 mile trip? :?

You want to borrow my services with the car & trailer?
Or should I position myself somewhere down the A5 and wait your call?

Yep, it'll be difficult to keep such a high performance beast down to North Circular speeds !
Dunno why they bother having 50mph speed cameras - if you're actually doing 40mph, and averaging 25mph, then you're faster than anything else out there.

Remind us nearer the time, please?

I've still got a soft spot for Bantams.
Between my ears, probably.

Just being old doesn't make it a "Classic."

Aaaah! Nostalgia is not what it used to be!

Is it that particularly stinky and boggy bit on Wanstead Flats that Poppy loves so much ?
