Filling pitted rims

Has your Voskhod broke again? Suffering dodgy Italian electrics? Post your tales of woe here. Or ask odd questions about the rear wheel spacer on a Vincent Black Widow, should it take your fancy.

Filling pitted rims

Any reason not to use bodywork filler (post blasting) to make pitted rims pretty prior to painting?

Am thinking maybe they flex more than the filler would like. Dunno?

Would that 'loading with solder' malarkey be an option?

Knifing stopper would be easier to use and finish, the pitting cant be too bad if you are going to re-use the rims.
