Some engines however you fit the crank seals and then the bearings so using an oven is not an option in those cases I usually use a decent heat gun and something like a oversize bearing driver (remember a rag or gloves before you grab the handle to remove it) the bearing driver will shield the seal and allow you to heat the case so the bearing out of the freezer will just slip in.
