A good ride - go south to Taieri Mouth, and take the road over the hill to Waihola. Just north of Waihola, torn off along Taieri Ferry Road, then at Henley go towards Berwick, and then turn north again to Outram

Dam,
Hire a bike while your out there, even if its for a day or 2, i went over for 3 weeks with the missus a few years back, hired a car for 2 weeks, then a bike fro 4 days, the travelling by bike was so much more enjoyable than the tin can!
