One of the best pubs I know of, anywhere!
If you turn up on a summer saturday or (especially) sunday, there's usually a wide variety of bikes there, from modern to (very) ancient.......1918 Indian anyone? No front brake on that one, perhaps that's why it's called an Indian, you need to be "brave" to ride it  !
I think that at least one classic club has meets there, will have to ask.....oh, just talked myself into riding there again
The food is good and not expensive,
The BEER likewise,
And if you don't want BEER, then tea and decent coffee are available.
Live music friday and saturday nights, jazz sunday afternoons,
and a nice, laid-back atmosphere.
Chiddingly is just off the A22 between Uckfield and Eastbourne.
