Hi there folks!

Good afternoon,

I'm new here and I'd just like to say hello!

Recently became the proud owner of a '38 Motobecane B1V2. 100cc chicken chaser but with such a classic style to it, I just had to buy it.
It dreams of TT course records, but if it gets me to the chippy and back every so often I'll be happy!!

I run a small engineering company who do just about any mechanical repair required, so one day it's plant machinery, the next it can be my neighbours watch.

Who can advise me on classic two stroke piston clearances? I've got a new piston, 46.5mm dia as opposed to the original 46mm job but the sleeve is cracked and all shapes so I've got nothing good enough to judge the dimensions of the new one.

Any help will be much appreciated.
