Hi, I`ve recently acquired a lovely looking 1959 BSA B31 "Goldie lookalike" and am very pleased with her. (My Harley was too heavy at 560lb.) This beauty is only about 300lb. I`ll be 69 this year so this bike and others like it has been part of my life story since my childhood. However, like older people this bike has a prostate problem and is incontinent of oil to some degree. I wondered what opinions are on this forum re "wet sumping."

Ey'up.

I'm no expert on it but a lot of people seem to think that anti-wet sumping valves aren't a good idea as they can restrict flow. I'm sure others with more knowledge will be along to advise better though.
