another monstrosity

Unread post by scotduke » Thu Feb 16, 2012 10:25 am

This has the original 70s look, so maybe someone will love it. A lot of people might think it's just a random heap of left over bits, loosely assembled to make something resembling a motorcycle. The tank is, errr, something else.

£923?

That seems like a lot of money (to me) considering how few usable / desirable parts there are.

Unless I missed out the decimal point!

But whatever is done to it will probably be an improvement on what it suffered four decades ago.

:o
Just being old doesn't make it a "Classic."

Aaaah! Nostalgia is not what it used to be!

Yeah but it's classic tat Velt, that's the point. Old skool chops like this are going to start appreciating in value, just watch and see. This one's even got, errr, patina.

I just don't want anything like this myself.

Think they just hit it with a lot of bad taste myself. Did you look at the tank? It'll be worth a bundle in a few years for the tank alone, just you watch.
