Saw a really interesting in line four diesel bike in Germany a while back. It had a car a engine and a shaft drive - ugly but interesting.

I did road test the Enfield diesel way back in the 1990s and did a piece on it for Bike at the time. You could wind it up to about 75mph, but it took a long time to get there and the brakes and suspension weren't really up to the job. In fact, the front brake was really awful.

The guy on the chop in the photo is my mate Ray who lives just up the road.....the bike "rejoices" in the name of Snot-pump!
He's a talented bloke.....the bike's engine is I think about 225cc and from some bit of site equipment and the whole bike is very nicely engineered.
He reckons it doesn't go fast but is the best fun he's had on 2 wheels.
