Silly Belgians

Unread post by Frankfurt-Beesa » Mon Jul 07, 2014 12:14 pm

Went to the Biker Classics at Spa this weekend, and all I can say is, Belgians should not be allowed to organize anything. Catering... If you want chips it's OK, but only one or two stands open for that. Beer? much the same. and only in the paddock nowhere track side could you get any kind of refreshment. Could be an absolute fantastic event, if they marketed it properly and put on some better and more abundant catering. Best viewing area, away from the grandstand is about 1km walk from the paddock, and absolutely nothing there. not even a wooden bench. There's virtually a natural grandstand, just add benches and open the already there beer stand. No, Belgians are too crap for even that. Next year if we go, we will organize a BBQ stand and some beer at that location, for invited guests only.

You also don't want to let Belgians to drive you anywhere. Belgium has twice the fatality rate of the Netherlands next door, and about 1.6 times that of France, also next door.

Belgian police rarely bother to enforce drink driving laws or tackling any other driving offences and the penalties are very low anyway.
