IAM new motorbike licensing survey.

Unread post by Room101 » Thu Aug 09, 2012 8:30 pm

The IAM, unbeknown to most road users, (who only see the IAM as the advanced riding and driving guys) also influence policy proposed by our wonderful members of parliament, many of whom would not know a motorcycle or car from a hole in the ground.

The IAM investigate just what does kill bikers and what we can do about it, this covers things such as rider skills, high viz, roadside barriers etc.

Some of their documents can be found here.

They have a research team but one of their info gathering devices is via simple online surveys on various subjects – they generally have a different survey each month.

This months survey is re the new motorcycle licensing laws (to be introduced in the UK the start of next year). Please help us by taking the 2 minute simple click a button survey which also allows you to have your say at the end about how you feel these new laws will effect biking. You do not have to be a member of the IAM to complete the survey and it doesn’t ask for any personal details.

The survey is here, see below ….. cheers guys, Stan
