A-hem...

Unread post by jessplop » Sun Aug 31, 2014 12:48 am

Hi folks, long time no see eh? Life has been hectic, busy, changing and, well different for a couple of years or so. Divorce, new lay-dee in my life, new job where I actually have to work (ish) and a couple of jolly good road trip adventures this summer, have kept me rather occupied. I'm hoping for a more settled winter, to get busy on several projects which have accumulated. I hope everyone is safe, sane and getting some miles under their belts.

Ploppy :)

I could agree with you, but then I won't get the abusive foul-mouth PM sent to my home PC...

I still get to lounge about in the middle of the sea, just not so much. I'm working in India now, on a proper olde ruste buquette of a drillship, the keel was laid in 1948, or so rumour has it, we are the oldest operational drillship on planet Earth I believe :)

Sorry to hear about the divorce plops, but glad it seems to have worked out for you. Did you get to keep your big shed

No major changes, property wise, just yet Jimmy. Amicable attitudes prevail at home. Besides, I have hardly been home this year :) . I hope, in a year or so, to get it all squared away and find a decent sized shed with a bit of land (I suppose a hoose will be required too..), but for now, things are tickittybooish enough.
