Last time I rebuilt Stroppy she'd seized a pin & ruined the small end so I got them machined out & BSA A10 bushes fitted. These got reamed to fit the Triumph pins & all seemed good.
However on stripping it down today as part of getting the frame welded & sorting leaks I've found one of these bushes has moved. I'm thinking a small bit of tube in the oil hole would locate it better, but I'm not sure how to hold it all together. Any ideas?

Re: Small ends
I think small bit of tube would just be something else to come loose and wreck the engine.
I'd be looking to see why the small end moved, as it does not look like it ran hot I would check if the rod is bent (any sign of wear on one side of the piston ?) or if the small end fit is looser than it should be.
