Haven't had the chance yet to give it a run out on the road, will get it MOT'd first and taxed.Be just my luck for the only copper to come into our village would come in at the time I was running it. I rode it up and down the garden and it seems to pull very well. Bit noisy down the bottom end. IF I think that will give me trouble once I get it out on the road I'll see what the bottom end of the spare engine is like and may change it. At least now I have no rusty bolts to undo, I used copper grease on all the bolts I tookout, cleaned and put back.

It's still a damn fine restoration!
And within a miniscule budget.

How many of the "£f*ck knows how much retorations" ever get ridden enough to reveal their weaknesses?

Good on you, McNut. 8-) 8-) 8-)

(But an MZ would be a more worthy recipient of your efforts.)
Just being old doesn't make it a "Classic."

Aaaah! Nostalgia is not what it used to be!

Can't say much but courtesy of someone up north (Ey Up) the next McNutty project should arrive in Cornwall in the next few weeks.

If that's who I think it is, then I think I know what it is.

He very kindly offered it to me when I tried my freecycle experiment (which came to naught !)
