Seeley Honda 750
Re: Seeley Honda 750
They do look great Zun. Does it run as well as it looks?
Re: Seeley Honda 750
Hi SD,
Prior to the silencer failure the engine was slowly getting better, it was while starting to use the revs that I blew the original silencer end cone off. The replicas seem to have a more raspy note than the Seeley items so just waiting for the next dry roads day to give it a blast. At the end of day it is a 60 bhp at the rear wheel machine so does feel a bit tame compared to my SV1000s. There are a bunch of tuning options for the old SOHC lump available though
Cheers Geoff

It's still got more go than my little GT though.
It's not how big it is, but how you use it that counts

Re: Seeley Honda 750
A rare sunny winters day so I decided I deserved a full English brekkie at Merkins Farm Café.

Name of the owner I believe Hooli rather than any connection to the good'ol USofA. Nice destination for a morning ride and a damn fine full English, no little strips of crispy bacon here lol (no pancakes and maple syrup either when I think about it, I will have words with the chef)
Cheers Geoff
Re: Seeley Honda 750
There was a disagreement between TMG & DAM if memory serves.
Sounds a good place for a ride out then, might even get there myself as Mrs Hooli is getting a bike on the road again this year.

Classics ain't built in Metric

It's good spot to stop for brekkie or lunch, Hooli. http://www.merkinsfarm.com/cafe/Hooli wrote:There was a disagreement between TMG & DAM if memory serves.

What machine is Mrs Hooli getting?
Cheers Geoff
Re: Seeley Honda 750
She still has the same selection as before, two GSX14s, HD Sportster & a half built Bantam. Probably be the HD that goes back on the road to start with.
