Reason I asked, due to BSA's general cheapness I wonder if bantam ones might fit? I will measure one tomorrow. Failing that, you might find somewhere who can fit you new linings. If you can, remove the old lining yourself, very carefully. They are probably asbestos, and will cost a fortune to have a lining company remove. Soak them in water or oil, and keep a spray handy to make sure there is NO dust. I probably shouldn't be advising that of course ;)

I am an ex bantam man and unfortunatley they are a totaly diffrent design I know bsa were always using parts from diffrent models through there range but this mostley applied from the fifties onward but the good news is someone from New Zeland has emailed me with a pair of new old stock shoes and even with postage it still only works out at just over £20.00 so a result in the end
But thanks for your help and the tip about the asbestos I hadn't even given it thought but it makes sense someone charging for removing old linings

Thanks again
Andy
