I know where there's a CBX250RS sidepanel with a lug snapped off.
This is the method I'm going to use to repair it.

Jolly good, there's a lug missing orft one of the zephyr side panels, so I'll see how well it all works out, then have a go myself (at some, distance, point in time and space).

Fortunately we have the lug, it was still stuck in it's rubber grommet.
And I've got a selection of cable ties - including some small grey ones, which I think might just be ideal.

Here's what we started with -

Tacking the corners of the lug into place before setting to with the cable ties -

I used 3 very small ties in total - carefully working around the edge of the lug -

The final result - it could do with smoothing down and painting - but it's on the inside where no-one will ever see it - so it's hardly a priority.
